Those are good numbers, Shlonster. What part of the country are you in? (Trying to figure out if you're the first of a batch.)
Western state. I'd say 3 mail-days away from LA. (just checked, letter is postmarked 3/8)
Not too heartbroken with Mich, but I guess they could tell I wasn't that interested from my app. A little surprised, to say the least.
And please, call me Shlonst.
Lol those last 2 letters really are killer. Do you mean Mich or UCLA?
Lol also sounds good Tall.

haha that's funny. That's what Cal fans say to Stanfurd people too. That and the hissing.

Veritas, if you've lasted this long, then I'd actually find it encouraging! They are not shy about handing out WLs.. I think UCLA knows about its competitors' situations, and may time their "final round" to coincide with particular dates at other schools. For example, there is some hullaballoo going on at Cornell about final decisions not being dished out until mid/late April! That is pushing many people (me included) to wait it out before sinking the cash into a seat deposit at UCLA (although to be honest, I'd still probably pick UCLA).
Answer: I don't know! But, I'm assuming you're still pending at other peer schools?

If they were I would have received a call by now!
Hopefully this does not mean they're finished with acceptances...

Me too. Hmmm I wonder what this means.
Also, for people who got dinged, did you just receive a letter in the mail or did you get any other confirmation like an email?

Why is UCLA taking so long? I almost forgot that I applied to them...3 months and not a peep. I'd seriously consider them too, if they got back to me anytime soon...

Jesus, end of April? That scares me. Although, I wouldn't mind at all waiting that long for an acceptance. I'd just hate to throw money away on another school on a deposit.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
