3.95, 161, good softs I think, complete shortly after submitting on 11/2, although I had to call them in late January to get a complete confirmation. With my LSAT I'm not surprised by the ding. I think I like BC better anyway

That was me last year! I applied with a 3.8/151 and got in nowhere, except for a provisionally ranked local school. Took a year off, studied for months and managed to do decently on the LSAT this past September. It can get better, you may just have to wait a year.

But what if you just don't test well? You end up spending money on the wait (living expenses, a job that pays less than after law school, etc)... for questionable results.


IN OTHER NEWS:
I am going to put a wireless video camera in my mailbox. I need to know what the heck is in there.
Think it'd work if I put one of those wireless sd cards in my digital camera and just let it run? I also will need a device to shuffle the mail for me, so I can see it all.

That's definitely true. I'm extremely lucky in that I was able to stay with my family rent free, so I didn't have much in living expenses. However, I'd rather pay a year's worth of living expenses than 3 years worth of tuition at a TTTT, you know? Because yeah, the job you have in that year pays less than many good law jobs, but what are your chances of getting a good law job out of a crap school? Because that's where I and many other poor LSAT scorers would have ended up if we didn't take a year off. Even if you don't test well, I can imagine that a year of studying would still be able to raise your score at least a FEW points.

I went a week straight hearing something from a school everyday, but for the past two weeks I have heard zilch. It's driving me mad because I have to decide on a school by April 1st! But it won't help if I don't hear back from all the ones I applied to.

lol, I got that too. I think they just want to make sure no one holds on to a spot they def don't want (at this point in the cycle)

Well once you get past my "fudged" numbers, its easy to see that I've got in everywhere I was a shoe-in but everywhere that I was 50/50 I was waitlisted. Michigan came through big, I was not expecting that at all. The rest of the schools left on my list are mostly the upper T14 so I'm sure they will be rejections or WLs if I'm lucky. Michigan seems to be it, but I'm sure I'll have to pay full price which is definitely not good.

You got GWU thats a big one. Personally I think you'll get into Cornell. I think you got a solid shot at Michigan too with that GPA. Maybe we'll both end up at Michigan.

BTW: Whats up with ND? I thought you applied there but I didnt see it on your list.
