Based on your scores, it may be worth it. Ask yourself: with the schools/$ you've already received, would you turn them down for GULC? In 10 years, will you regret not spending the $100 on a shot, just to see? I tend to lean on the side of "eh, just give it a shot, it's not a lot of money in the long run," but that's a call you've got to make considering your goals and personal finances.

How long does it typically take to hear back? I'm going on 10 weeks and I know people said they usually have between 6-8 week decisions. Hoping to at least get it soon!

Also are all decsions still made by snail mail? I've read that they are starting to email people for acceptances and WL but are rejections still snail mail?

Thanks!!

I was under the impression that WLs and rejections are email and acceptances come via snail mail

Yup, as far as I know this is the case. They might start emailing acceptances in the interest of saving time, but they aren't going to start mailing rejections.

Awesome thank you both so much!

What happens if you don't have a group or alum interview? Is that a negative sign? :|

Nope -- I was accepted w/o interview, and applied pretty late in the cycle (Feb LSAT).

ETA: Also, I'm a splitter - GPA<25%, LSAT>75%

For those who have received scholarship offers after responding to GULC's "feeler" email, how long did it take from them to get back with the offer?

I think they mean it when they say it's not required. I was admitted without one. I'd say only add it if what you have to say actually is a boost to your application, not just because you feel like you should. Not sure about post-application-submissions.

How long after receiving log-in info does it take to actually be able to *log in* to the admitted students portal? I check every day to make sure it still generates a username and password for me, but I'd feel a lot better if I could actually get on the portal lol...

My anxiety is just at an all-time high these days.

What's the recommended platform for sending LOCI/updates? Mail? or Email?

Yeah, I was admitted without an optional response AND without an interview. Take that, conventional wisdom!

if I remember correctly, there is something like a four day lag. they want you to get the letter before you can get into the website. but if it is generating a username and password for you, there's no need to stress! you're in!

Does the status checker ever signal if you're under review? Or does it just sit at application completed until a decision is made?

It never changes from application complete. I was accepted a month ago, and mine still says app complete.

Well, the bad news is that I was waitlisted (preferred). The good news is that immediately after that happened the mailman brought me my new Christian Louboutins.

At least I'll look sad AND pretty. :|

SAMES. Minus the Christian Louboutins - so I'm jealous that you have that going for you. Hang in there !

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
