Since I was extremely bored, I went through last year's threads and this week (the 22nd) was when they started their initial batch of waitlists. Although I can't really speak to how similar the cycles have been (if at all), I'd guess that a solid amount of decisions will be rendered within the two weeks. Then again, I don't think Michigan extended their deadline last year so we'll see.

Waking up to see "Application Completed" has not been my favorite part of the day...

Does anyone know if the scholarship updater works the same as the admissions one (updates once a day at a set time)? I think I've checked it 500 times in the last week.

In today via Status Checker. Anyone have any idea regarding scholarships for people accepted this late? I know there was some mention of a late January cutoff or something. Michigan is a top choice but not at sticker.

Late January is when they expected to be caught up with scholarship offers and planned to start releasing offers within two weeks of admission. I don't think they're is any cut-off for merit aid.

That's why I hate Michigan's status checker. I know some people love it, but with Michigan's, I feel compelled to check it. Every. Single. Day.

I check it everyday at 6:30 while eating my post-work out eggs. The muscle exhaustion combined with epinephrine combined with the joy of eggs combined with the hope/despair cycle of the Michigan Magical Status Checker make me a supremely weird person to be around prior to my 9:00am coffee.

Checking in! Wasn't originally planning to apply but after they mailed the viewbook/emailed me and extended the deadline, I decided the campus was too pretty to not do so- such a sucker for Gothic architecture- though I feel like applying so late is actually going to just work against me :/

I submitted my app on the 15th without a Why Michigan essay because I had to rush to meet the deadline. What's the protocol for submitting supplemental essays after the rest of the app has already been submitted? FWIW I haven't gone complete yet.
