Re: Northwestern Law C/O 2016 (2012-2013 Applicants)
I'm thinking I'll just speak to someone in admissions during ASW or email them before then to explain my (lamentable, in retrospect) reason for not EDing, reiterate my very strong desire to attend NU, and hope for the best. I'd love to just sign the enrollment form and get this hell over with.Audeamus wrote:oh no! not a sad panda! anything but a sad panda! pandas are too cute to be sad.shntn wrote:Not to further that feeling, but +1. I kick myself daily for not EDing. Major regret action.oaken wrote:appreciate the responses, thanks guys. actually kind of relieving, i was just feeling like i made a huge mistake there for a second.
ETA: now a sad panda.

In. No interview, little WE. 167/3.8. Non-urm. Divine intervention? I was thinking about sitting out this year and taking the LSAT again but now I'll have a legitimate decision to make.

not yet but it's only 9:40 CST. They're still drinking coffee and settling in most likely.porch wrote:any movement today for those of us who havent heard anything yet in the past week ?

I hope we're lucky enough to hear something. The ed held response form was due last week so I hope they have a bunch of those waiting for a decision. I have my $500 check ready. Maybe I should send it in anyway and they'll think they accepted me...feralinfant wrote:not yet but it's only 9:40 CST. My status checker updated to today's date after going complete on 1/18 after the off campus interview. Seems like NU is churning through apps this week, something tells me I may be in for the quick ding as this is an astronomical reach given my numbers. Anyone else notice a date change?

I haven't been updated since October 1st. I'm starting to think there's something major wrong with my application...

Re: Northwestern Law C/O 2016 (2012-2013 Applicants)
I think there are tons of us still sitting and waiting on October/November status dates. They are clearly just going through the applications in whatever order they deem the best - don't really think it means anything (bad or good). Doesn't make it less frustrating though....venus wrote:Well, it's not like they've only been accepting people so far...pinballwiz24 wrote:I haven't been updated since October 1st. Just to repeat yesterday's info -if someone missed it - that they are not going to release any AJD decisions this week

It seems like they've just been letting in auto-admits so far--any consensus?

From reading this thread it seems like the the bulk of the decisions that have gone out are deferred offers, waitlists, dings, ED admits, and ED defers. Very very few RD admits have gone out

Thanks. I actually submitted in early October but that damn interview held up my application for a couple months.
