So to clarify, to get merit $$ at this stage in the game, we need to have FAFSA filled out and sent to BU? I got in about two weeks ago, but with no mention of aid at the time. Obviously I'd like to change this...

Also, would BU see ND and U of Illinois' as peers for negotiation purposes?

I was accepted last week and received merit aid. My FAFSA was filled out, but not my need access. Also, it came with my acceptance package.

By admissions packet, I take it you mean by mail? Didn't hear anything about merit aid in the acceptance voicemail, but really need a big chunk of change in order to attend BU

Never got a status checker, complete email, or anything else after I applied to BU in late October.

I just got my acceptance call! I don't even know what to think right now!

they're definitely reading in order of lsat numbers or something. why are so many people in who went complete after me and i'm still stuck at 1/12

I don't think they are going by LSAT, I've been stuck at 2/2 from 1/23 complete and I have pretty high LSAT for BU (although a relatively low GPA haha)

Yeah, yp was my thought as well... I sure hope that's not the case!

My guess is they are yp. Most of the people that seem to have been waiting awhile have numbers that should be good enough. They are probably waiting to see if people withdraw before they have to give a decision

It still says complete and has the normal "we'll tell you as soon as we can, relax" text at the top. For the applicants that have heard back already, does it ever change to Decision Rendered? Or am I going to stumble upon a WL/Rejection letter on my doorstep sometime this week?

I just want them to reject/WL/whatever me. I would just withdraw but I paid to apply so now I'm determined to wait it out.

I got the acceptance call yesterday. Today the status checker says, "Decision Made," and the text at the stop says, "Congratulations on your acceptance!..."

Financial Aid Application Checklist


Signed copies of 2011 federal income tax returns
Please include a signed copy of the 1040 form, all schedules and all W-2 forms for the applicant and the applicant's spouse, if applicable.
Parent federal tax returns are required if you will be under 24 years of age by December 31 or claimed as a dependent on your parents' federal income tax return.
Please do not submit state tax returns.

I assume we physically mail all that info? Other schools have websites where you input that information but BU is different I guess? Or is this handled via NeedAccess?

I'm preparing to send a LOCI as soon as I have my Feb. LSAT scores, does anybody know who I should send it to? The WL email provided a general waitlist e-mail address but I wasn't sure if I should send it to that account or address it to someone specifically. Thanks!
