Oh man! They wouldn't just tell you on the phone??
That would have been nice lol. Sadly I have to wait all over again
I think my mailman has a hidden vendetta against me and threw it away.

boston-area people: after your mailing status changed to "decision mailed", did it take 1 or 2 days for the letter to arrive? i refuse to go back to my apt because i know the mail isn't delivered this early and if i am there, i will just stare out the window with my cat waiting for the mailman/woman to come.

Mine said decision mailed on 12/7; letter arrived on 12/9. I'm in Brighton/Brookline.

Have you tried leaving a gift for your mailman? Homemade cookies? Gift card? Cash?
Congrats to all the admittees!

First day of classes go to Chicken Lou's - it's a little unobtrusive almost ignorable shack diagonal from one of the Law School buildings (Forsyth and Huntington Ave) - and get yourselves a TKO. You'll drop shaking in a feverish ecstasy.
You can also do that when and if you visit.

in today!! via mail. 8500/yr scholarship as well...
stats on profile.
it is my first acceptance so i am so relieved! northeastern isn't a top top choice because of price and i'm hoping to get into a couple higher places.. but northeastern has had a special place in my heart since the beginning with its co-op program and nice environment. this is a nice first acceptance! phew

NOPE! still says "application complete 11/23". it's looking like a ding for me.
.....on the plus side, i got into American University WCL! I was notified today by my little sister over the phone. I suppose I received the acceptance through Priority Mail.
I'm considering whether to withdraw or not from NU seeing that i got into a higher-ranked school (for pretty much the same price). good luck to everyone!
cheers!

Did anyone else apply for EA? I was just wondering. My status still says "Complete" as of 12/9 and nothing new under mailings or anything like that.
Also, how many days on average did it take people to get their letters once they said they were mailed? I ask because my letter will be going to my school address and I will be at home, so I want to know when my letter is mailed how many days I should wait before I make the trip back to get my letter.
Ugh this waiting really does kill me haha

I'm in New York and it took my dorm's mailroom 3 days to give the letter to me. They said it had arrived on that third day.

Thanks a lot...I'm in NY too so that is helpful. Are you in the city or upstate somewhere?

Oh no we aren't haha I am upstate in Western NY. I will probably add another day or so to your 3 for getting my letter...that is, if they ever send it.

I would say your chances are pretty good! A 161/3.2 and 161/3.27 have already been admitted... Good luck!
