Which? American football and soccer, or Europe and "effemenite" men? Here on the optimism thread, we are free to love all equally... Even pessimistic interlopers.

I just dislike soccer hooligans' attitude towards soccer. For example, I'm a baseball fan, and I understand that not everyone loves baseball. Some if not many of these people may have even given baseball a chance, and/or are former players themselves. I have come to terms with the fact that they just don't like it.

Soccer fans have convinced themselves that soccer is the onlys sport in the world, and that anyone who doesn't LOOOOOVE soccer just hasn't given it a chance. They are incapable of comprehending that when I watch soccer, all I see is a ball going back and forth, then nothing because it put me to sleep, then the inevitable 1-0 score at the end.

For the record, I think baseball is like one of the most boring sports to watch ever. Fun to play though. Same with soccer.

Football is god. That is all.

Preach on, Ugh... Give me a pitcher's duel any day of the week... However, I must admit that I also understand why my significant other does not appreciate baseball nearly as much as I do. Especially the mediocre team I happen to follow.

I cracked up... Not that you need any validation from me, but I snickered loudly... in a library, so lots of people turned around to stare.

Thank you... I can always use a good laugh. Jackalopes enjoy laughter, almost as much as beer... and football... and pizza... well, we enjoy lots of things, okay? But laughter is definitely up there...
