I sent my deposit today. Is anyone going to the NY event next Thursday?
I actually just got an email about that....they said for me to go to Phili...but I would like to go to NYC instead. Hopefully that is not going to be a problem.

I got the same e-mail, but I signed up for the NYC one yesterday. Think I should call?

I called, and I think you can still register for the NYC one. They had me on the list, and I just registered yesterday. I suppose they were just sending out an advertisement for the Philadelphia one in case people were unaware of it?

I FINALLY got my acceptance packet today in the mail; I've been complete for over two months! They've offered me the Chancellor's Scholarship, which is a lot of $$. I've already put my deposit down at Pepperdine out here in California, but I'm from Jersey and my family lives there still. Any advice for me? Should I change schools? There's about a $55k difference in scholarships, with SHU coming out way on top. What are the job prospects like? I'm nervous about such a big move and big change, but this is a lot of cash!

Then again, I'm from Burlington county...it's a different Jersey than Newark.
I am really freaked by all the unbridled hate that SHU seems to get from some folks here. I find it hard to believe that it could be that bad. Then again, I went to the Art Institute of Philadelphia, possibly the worst art school on the planet, and I ended up landing a job within six months of graduation that paid well (for the time). I believe that I can do that with law school, too.

I got an email for the admitted students dinner with the dean, but haven't been accepted. What's the deal? Am I in? Not going regardless unless I get a full ride (not gonna happen), but does that mean I'm in?

Anyone still waiting to hear back regarding a decision? I've been waiting 2 months and need to send in seat deposits to other schools very soon. I would like to know I'm not the only one still waiting with Seton Hall.

I don't know about you guys, but the only communication I've received from the school are 2 identical emails from the director of admissions with some FAQs and a thank you for applying, which were about a week apart and a week after I sent in my application.

It was a while for me. I got the letters you are talking about. Got an email last week about attending an admitted students event, then got the acceptance letter and $$ a few days later.
I have a sub 2.6 GPA and my LSAT is in the high 150s, non-URM, so there is definitely hope.

How are people looking for roommates & housing? Is there a facebook group or something?
Anyone have any advice on that? Thanks!:)

I received a letter from them last Thursday dated 5/21 saying my application is under review. I then called them to asked where my application is in the review process, and the lady said another 4 weeks! Jees if this is the way Seton Hall does things then maybe I should look elsewhere.

I got the same answer. I couldn't help but bust out laughing. I just can't understand.
