There's light at the end of this tunnel! Guess, I'll have to wait to find out if it's an opening or on-coming traffic!
Thanks and Congrats!

Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
Please tell me this is s good sign... Decision Made on 1/23. I haven't received anything in the mail yet, but they sent me an e-mail about two upcoming events in February. Here's the e-mail:
Dear xxx:
We are excited to let you know about two events coming up in February.
On Friday, February 5th, starting from 8:30am to 3:30pm, is the Race and The Law Symposium, Where Do We Go From Here?: The Struggle to Achieve Racial Parity in American Society. Community activists, lawmakers, and lawyers have played a critical role in shaping the American social reality. Join us for an in-depth discussion on how the role of race in America has shaped policy-making and the law. This symposium will focus on areas such as education and economic policy, as well as the role law plays in community growth and redevelopment. For more information regarding this event, please go to --LinkRemoved--. To register, email zbuetow@luc.edu.
On Friday, February 12th, from 8:00am to 4:00pm, is the Public Interest Law Reporter Symposium, Delinquency or Illness?: The Intersection of Mental Health and Juvenile Justice. This one-day symposium will bring together local and national leaders from all sides of the mental health and juvenile justice issue. Speakers will focus on the issues facing youth with mental health and behavioral disorders who come into contact with the juvenile justice system. Specifically, the symposium will explore the identification and diagnosis of youth with mental health disorders; early intervention practices in schools and the community; the interplay between race, ethnicity, sex and mental health; and recommendations for reform, particularly in the areas of detention, treatment, and collaboration among groups that serve this vulnerable population. For more information about this event, please go to --LinkRemoved--. To register, please e-mail: PILR-Symposium@luc.edu.
Although we hope that you are able to attend one or both events, we know that some are not able to come to the symposiums.
Sincerely,
Law Admission

I was accepted and received this email. I don't think it specifies whether or not it's for admitted students or not but why would not admitted students want to go....could be a good sign for you!

Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
Still havent received my acceptance letter in the mail, but I did get an email with scholarship information this afternoon. For some strange reason I thought I would get slightly more based on LSN and the numbers from last year. Oh well, I guess its better than nothing. Its my first acceptance of my cycle - hopefully more will come since Loyola is my safety.

I got the 10K scholly too, but it doesn't appear to be renewable. Was yours? Just says it will be applied to your tuition for the 2010-2011 year.idreamoflawschool09 wrote:mrmofo wrote:idreamoflawschool09 wrote:I also got accepted today and received that email.

15K/year scholarship award. Check the document attached to the email. It indicates that you must maintain a 3.0 and that over 90% of students maintained at least that GPA and kept their scholarships. Congrats everybody!

For those who received scholly emails today, do you mind sharing your numbers and when your status changed to decision made? Thanks and congrats everyone!

It looks like a lot of people have had pretty quick turn-around times from application to acceptance. What about not being accepted or placed on a waiting list; can anyone with those experiences give a time line?

Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
Waitlisted.
But-not down and out. I think my numbers/softs are defintely not "reject" status. The thing is though- i applied for the PTD program, and according to some other posters-there is a limited amount of spots for part-time day. My thinking is that maybe I should right a LOCI and include that I am totally good with Part-time Nights?
Anybody?
I don't want to seem annoying...
