waitlist 159/3.32

not a lot interest in going there, I applied because they said I could receive a scholarship and gave me a fee waiver. It sucks to not be admitted, but it makes my choice that much easier

Ditto over here. Does anyone know how difficult it might be to maintain a 3.2 gpa?

Has anyone received a scholarship that does not require a 3.2 gpa?

Huh. That's the same scholarship that I was offered, 15K per year, 45k total, but keeping a 3.2. I would be really happy with the offer if the gpa offer was 2.3--but 3.2 sounds fairly high. I mean, I obviously hope that I do better than that, but I would hate to lose the $$ when I could have gone to a "better" school. I wonder if they would negotiate the gpa?

I've never been inside, but it is in a beautiful building. Right next to the state street Macy's and a bunch of other shops, etc. Absolutely gorgeous around Christmas Time. The building itself is white brick like stone. I hear the classrooms and facilities are kind of run down, but you can't beat the location.

It is very drab inside and the hallway goes in a circle around the floor w/no windows. I'm trying not to judge the school by its facilities but it was very depressing after visiting LUC and Kent.

That's poopy. I wonder if that's enough to sway decisions to go there. Are the classrooms and such up to date and roomy at least, so that it wouldn't hinder learning?

waitlisted, which is fine. I only applied because it was free. Someone else can move up on that list now.

No idea- that's my GPA requirement as well. My plan is to obviously do very well (especially since I've already started prepping), but you need to prepare for the worst. Cost of living in Chicago is pretty high :|

Decision letter sent today. I have no idea how to feel. Do they mix decisions? Like will a couple be wait-lists, acceptances and rejections, or will it be purely acceptance or rejections?

edit: I also heard people who get accepted get called. Is that for every acceptance? And how long does it take them to do that?
