thanks for your input. I'm actually of the belief that after the T14, the rankings are more about personal preference. Being "bottom of T1" for UCI (using your prediction) isn't that far from Hastings current rank. Irvine is in my preferable market, it will be much cheaper and the current faculty/administration are going to work their tails off to make sure their first classes of students are well placed upon/after graduation. Plus it's public interest mission fits with my goals, Hastings, from my research, is more focused on private firms.
So, I think these are more rational considerations, not just me being "nuts"let's be friends?

Finally got the LoR thing worked out, though LSAC wont send it till next week! I'm freaking out, though I am sure I will be ok, with only 15 acceptances+- going out this week (and they are all T10'rs)

Made a huge boo-boo in my app, emailed to fix it, I hope it doesn't affect my already low chances.

I'm starting to get multiple calls from Orange County area codes...that have nothing to do with Irvine. My heart's not strong enough for this.gymboree wrote:Anyone else get a call? I have big hope for TLS'ers.

I just re-read all my UCI components yesterday afternoon to make sure things were in order. Good catch, though!Inygma wrote:Made a huge boo-boo in my app, emailed to fix it, I hope it doesn't affect my already low chances.

Really? I was under the impression that it was a national holiday...which is why, even today, my work building is emptyfinalaspects wrote: a lush start for the entire year... and most companies don't give a day off on monday... only governments, banks, and schools i believe...sigh
I really hope they do make some calls today, though...they'll be closed on Monday and it would be another day of silence to suffer through

The day people started receiving acceptance calls, I received a call from an apartment complex in Irvine. Luckily, it was before I knew UCI was calling anyone. I think I would be outraged if it happened now.msch0i wrote:I'm starting to get multiple calls from Orange County area codes...that have nothing to do with Irvine. I hear ya! I live in the same area code as Irvine, so my heart skips a beat each time an "unknown" call comes through... torture... I'm thinking I'm going to put the unknown ringtone call as the Jeopardy theme song, haha.wired wrote:The day people started receiving acceptance calls, I received a call from an apartment complex in Irvine. It won't show up as "Unknown" - hope that helps you stay sane.socalren wrote:I hear ya!
