Snail Mail. My status was still not updated. Mail was dated on the 4th though. Received on the 6th. I'm in California.

<----Got my rejection last night. However, was so thrilled to get my first letter at all, it kind of cancelled out the disappointment. Looking forward to the other schools I applied to, expecting much more rejection, but an equal amount of acceptance. Hope to have some lower schools stroke my ego a bit with money.

To those who got rejected and were really wanting to come to UT I'm sorry to hear about that. I'm sure all of you will get into some pretty amazing schools though. Best wishes to the rest of your cycles.

And in another note, UT please send me money this week? Im assuming they will continue mailing out scholly's this week right guys?

im effing nervous...i submitted all my apps mad early, but i havent been accepted OR rejected anywhere whereas a lot of people who applied at the same time as me have heard from a bunch of schools either way. ahhhhhhhhh wtf

Eh, don't freak out. I've was under review for a long time at UT too, and I think a lot of these schools received a lot of early apps this year. They can only review so many per week...somebody has to be last.

rejected via status checker this morning (dated nov 6th). kind of surprised, but oh well, now im just hoping it had to do with me being from out of state and not something that was wrong with my app.

Didn't notice the "non-binding" next to the "early admission decision" (nor apparently in the checklist/instructions) and as a result submitted my application to be considered for "regular decision" in mid-October. Guess it's going to be a while before I hear after all...Damn. Think they'll penalize me for my stupidity?

Naw, I didnt apply EA either and I received a decision already (the same time as EA applicants)

Double check what it says on the status checker - some people didnt apply EA but were still considered for it.

I remembered that it was non-binding, and still managed to not check it in the flurry of applications. Still got a decision in late October.

I'm shocked that alm2127 didn't at least get a WL with those numbers. A rejection is pretty surprising.

yeahhh im just hoping theres not some big typo in my app somewhere that i missed. i am just under 3.5 though, so that might make a difference too as far as any unofficial gpa cutoff they might have for out of staters goes.

I guess they are looking for people closer to the top of their 25%-75% with both of their hard scores...ugh I'm definitely nervous now even though I'm in state.
