You're in California now right? I gotta wait for this envelope to come all the way to the east coast.valley splitter wrote:Alright, it's official. Got a big envelope in the mail today. Time to see how much money, in any, I'll get. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Yeah, my parents (where I get my stuff sent to) live about 15 minutes from the school. I received the letter today and it was dated 11/25.superflush wrote:You're in California now right? I got my letter Tuesday, but I am not sure when it was sent. It was very exciting though...I smelled it for a solid few minutes, it was a little weird.

Have you seen any information on the average scholarship amounts? I can't seem to find anything about this. I checked lawschoolnumbers but I would prefer something more reliable.RubyDoomsday wrote:I got my letter Tuesday, but I am not sure when it was sent. That might be an indicator.

I think it is something like 9% get between half-full scholarships. Are you just looking for the average scholarship for the people who get scholarships?valley splitter wrote:Have you seen any information on the average scholarship amounts? Pretty much any information would be helpful. This is my first acceptance, but I am seriously considering attending Santa Clara. I loved the school for undergrad but I'm worried about job prospects and need to measure that against cost. Fortunately, a few of the firms I would want to work at do OCI with the school.superflush wrote:I think it is something like 9% get between half-full scholarships. In! The letter arrived sometime during the holiday break while I was home with my family. Now to wait for scholarships...

How high and how low? I'm in the same boat (I applied to the part time program with a 3.1 and a 161).valley splitter wrote:Got in just a few minutes ago. Status: Decision Mailed. Deposits due: 4/1 and 6/1. I am guessing this means I'm in right? I don't want to get ahead of myself. Anyone get an acceptance in the mail after having deposit dates show? Just want to make sure. Did my undergrad there and live in the area so should get the mail soon, however my GPA is below the 25% though my LSAT is above the 75%.
I usually despise these posts, but I'm posting it anyway. THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME! I went complete on 11/19. With the holiday there will definitely be a delay. sigh.

Does anyone know what kind of money Santa Clara might offer to someone who is above both of their 75th percentiles?

I can't seem to find this information anywhere. I am literally going to drive over to the school in a bit just to ask someone. Well, I'm going to drive over to get a burrito at Mondo then go ask about money. Are all you people that are getting decisions Early Admission applicants? I applied two weeks ago, it is currently "In Committee". Am I going to wait a while or are any of you non-Early Decision applicants getting responses?

I was RD and was accepted 5 days after app complete, which was about a week after submission of the application.

What are their 75ths? I was 3.9/162 and got something like $6,000 per year. I would have strongly considered SCU if it had presented a much cheaper option over Hastings. But even with the scholarship I think Hastings was still cheaper.samwhip7 wrote:Does anyone know what kind of money Santa Clara might offer to someone who is above both of their 75th percentiles?

Have you already received scholarship information for c/o 2010? Or are you already a 1L at SCU?swheat wrote:What are their 75ths? I was 3.9/162 and got something like $6,000 per year. Damn, only $6,000 for those numbers? Their 75ths are 161/3.6 I believe.
