How long did those who got accepted stay "under review" for? I'm under review now (for PT and FT) with above 75% LSAT and below 25% GPA URM. I assume I'll hear back mid-November, but I'm just curious.

I am still under review, hopefully I will be joining you in acceptance-land soon....I wonder how long it'll take to get from under review to decision...
^This. Been under review since 10/16. It sounds like everyone with acceptances already went under review about a week earlier, so maybe we'll get a decision rendered next week?
Speculation.
Edit - I went under review yesterday, so this interests me as well. You and I have comparable numbers, but I'm not applying as a URM.

For all of you that have gotten acceptance letters:
What did your status checker say the day you got the letter? Did it still say "Under review?"

Sounds like a bunch of people had "decision rendered" even before getting the letter.

I may be wrestling with this decision as well. Originally I thought no chance, but Durham sucks and DC is awesome, so while Duke is technically ranked higher, I think GULC would be more fun for three years. Plus I want to do PI work after school and what better place to do that than DC?

Why? You'll certainly get into several T10 schools....you'd realy take GT over Pen//Mich/Virginia/Berkeley/probably Chicago?

Well no, but I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch. My point was that IF I'm choosing between Duke and Gtown, I'm thinking more and more I'd go with Gtown. Plus the numbers in my profile are slightly off. I don't think I'll get into Chicago or Virginia. I didn't apply to Penn. Michigan and Berkeley are possible but by no means a sure thing. We'll see.

Just got my letter today (in NYC). I'm sure it will come very very soon to those in the midwest, hang in there!
Re Duke vs Georgetown: I'm torn too. Like crackberry I'm leaning towards GT, where I feel I would get more exposed to international organization and U.S. politics. Btw, anyone planning to go to the open houses? It'd be lovely to meet offline

Got my acceptance letter today in the mail. I'm in So Cal, so...not sure why the rest of you haven't gotten it yet haha.
My handwritten note was pretty lackluster, looked like the dean couldn't think of anything and scrawled something as fast as he could. Almost like he had some lowly work-study kid write it with his butt.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
