Uhhh... have you been waitlited yet? Cause if no, I wouldn't give my hopes up. First seat deposits were due last week.

No. I applied late (2/5) and was held up by LORs, which didn't get in until the 1st of March. I was a fool for applying late, I know, but part of the reason for me applying late is due in some part to a personal tragedy that happened in the fall. I'm hoping my 160 LSAT will be enough to get me in.
My in review date has changed again and now says 4/9/2010 after saying 4/7/2010 on Wednesday. Is that good for it to change so quickly?

Congrats! Will you be going full or part time? I'm a non-traditional Indiana student too.

I applied for both. They did not indicated which one I was awarded. I'll take either one

The same thing happened to me and I was accepted today.

Good to know. I was planning on applying for "either" as well (next year) and don't have my heart set specifically on full time or part time. The only difference is whether I work or take out loans.

I dropped an April 1 seat deposit, but I got in at Pitt, which I prefer greatly, and will likely be withdrawing in the near future. I'll most likely post on here when I do. GL to the WL hopefuls.

My girlfriend didn't apply until late February and heard nothing until she was accepted yesterday (no wait list or anything). They are clearly still accepting people so I'm optimistic, especially since my In-Review date changed yesterday after originally being posted on Wednesday. I think that's a good sign.

In-Review 4/12/2010. That's the second time it's changed since originally going In-Review on 4/7.

I'm a current IU-Indy 1L
I can take some more (realistic) questions if anybody has any.

Still no update on my app. I have been complete since early Dec. I emailed the admissions, and they said they should have decisons made by the end of April.

1. My fiancee
2. Some questions
They have your resume. Also, your visit has no impact on your admissions (unless you do something dumb, I'd assume)

Actually, I haven't applied yet. I'm looking at admission for 2011. I will just happen to be in Indy and thought since I'm there I should tour even before applying. Who knows, maybe it will help me write my "Why Indy" essay.

Yea, when I toured I just brought my girlfirend and a diet Coke. Indy is getting enough applications this past year that they are going to be playing a numbers game for 2012... They are in a position to climb the rankings and they are gunna go for it. I doubt showing your face on campus will help you get in. It could only hurt... haha.

In today via email. Am 100% going here. I will probably pay the seat deposit tomorrow.

I applied for FT only. My status checker changed to "decision letter sent" when my email was sent.
The email only congratulates you on being admitted and mentions nothing about scholarships or anything else. It says a formal letter with additional details and information will be mailed later in the week.

I went complete on 1/25, Indy was one of my top picks - I even visited the school last year and started looking at housing. I finally went into review today (4/15) but because I hadn't heard ANYTHING my heart is now set on another school I've been admitted too....sad....if the timing would have been different I wonder how my decision would have ended up? Maybe this is how they end up with JUST the students who truly want to attend the school?

Hi Chitown,
Any recommendations on laptops for class? I am leaning towards a netbook for convenience, but didn't know if it was enough.
Thanks!
