I went into Review in early November, then in mid January, my review date on my status checker changed. One day later, my requirements list disappeared, and I believe it was one day later when it said "Congratulations an admissions letter has been mailed!" or something to that effect. They called the same day that my status checker changed to "Congrats," and they called me at home.texlawtex wrote:Hmm that's informative. Anyone have any experience on the timespan between admissions requirement disappearing and getting a decision?
Also, i could backtrack, but, how are decisions delivered, mail, email, status checker, call?
Totally agree that UT takes a holistic approach...... and numbers are not everything !!!jeeptiger09 wrote:I went into Review in early November, then in mid January, my review date on my status checker changed. I don't have great stats, but I wrote a pretty solid Why UT statement worked it into my learning experience essay. I also have pretty decent softs, and it is my belief that UT takes a very holistic approach to reviewing applications. Hope that helps, best of luck.

I thought it wouldn't be needed to get filled due to just looking at the resume cause some schools say it's optional to rewrite the stuff. Is it too late to fill out or even necessary? I just don't want them to think I was lazy. Thanks a lot.

texlawtex wrote:When the requirements list dissapears it means they have made a decision, are about to make a decision etc correct?
I would assume that this is true for all the lsac run status checkers?
I got my acceptance letter/phone call, and my status still said under review....it never went blank. After I got the letter it changed to "Congratulations".....texlawtex wrote:When the requirements list dissapears it means they have made a decision, are about to make a decision etc correct?

Unfortunately, they have to verify your social security number before they give you any news. Hopefully you don't give out that information on your outgoing message so they'll leave you a voice mail, but it will just be asking you to call back. However, based on my experience they only call when they have good news for you. I've gotten two phone calls: one for my acceptance and the other for my scholarship.texlawtex wrote:Thank you. It does mean a decision is coming, but it is not necessarily good or bad. I mistakenly thought it meant an acceptance, and was rejected about a week after it changed.ClemTiger wrote:Just went from Review 1/20 to Review 3/5. Any insight good or bad and does that mean a decision is probably forthcoming? Thanks!
My stats are very similar, yet I still have my original review date from October.ihopeihope wrote:3.57/159 oos still says review 3/5. Checking it like crazy and afraid to go for my run right now in case I miss the possible (I hope!) phone call. They have been sending me a bunch of recruitment mail after I sent in my application (complete 1/14). Has this been happening to anyone else? I'm taking it as a good sign.

I would say you can rest easy this weekend(or atleast as much as possible). I have not heard of anyone getting a call on a weekend. My status checker date changed on a Friday, and I got a phone call the following Tuesday. So yeah you should not hear anything this weekend.ihopeihope wrote:For those of you who have been accepted, did any of you get a call on the weekend? My status just changed today (still review) and I'm guessing I will not hear until next week now that it is after 5 on Friday, but just wondering if I should be jumping every time my phone rings this weekend.
