Do I count?
169 lsat and 2.9gpa (physics major) woooo. I have no illusions of getting into a great school, my super-reach is U of MN and I applied to a few tier 3 schools hoping to get some cash. I applied almost 5 weeks ago, it'd be nice to get a full ride for christmas!

Late to the game here - 171, 2.96; 4 years WE in non-profit legal services org.
Applied GULC ED (only FT though plan to amend to include PT if wait listed or deferred)
NYU for sh*its and giggles
Berkeley just to waste some money
Fordham
Seton Hall
UC Hastings
American
Still planning on NU and UCLA
Good luck to everyone! And congrats to those who are already done!

Our village will slaughter a cow to honor your trials.Chupavida wrote:2.3ish/170 with a great story here. I'd claim the "lowest GPA of the thread" title if it weren't so damn depressing. I'm complete at 20 schools, Michigan on down, with a few 30+ schools as safeties. No ED out, but like the rest of the world I'm EA at Cornell, and most of my apps were done in Sept and early Oct.
If anybody has any spare prayers or sacrificial goats or whatever, I'll need all the help I can get.

Re: Splitters Unite! - Official 2010 Splitter Thread
Of those 4 so far registered on LSN who've applied ED to NU, I am the most egregious splitter. Highest LSAT, lowest GPA.
pj06 171 / 3.36
tth83 166 / 3.22
NayBoer 172 / 2.7
dpeter2455 170 / 3.56
Also, if you view all NU applicants on LSN, and sort by GPA in ascending order, I currently have the worst GPA of any listed. Same for Cornell, if you exclude URMs.

I am not a URM. I'm not sure how strong my softs really are. I was pretty active in college in a number of substantive ways (Judicial Board, etc.), and now I work for a prominent nonprofit in a legal-like capacity. Also, my undergrad is really well known for having low GPAs, no grade inflation, etc., and I am realizing is quite well-respected (based off what I hear from friends applying and acceptance letter handwritten notes).predetermined wrote:Do you have any crazy softs, or are URM? If not, I'll be helluva more optimistic about my chances at these schools.tumbleweed664 wrote:Good luck all!
