My default position is to try to assume WL or OUT everywhere. That way a waitlist or rejection is expected and an acceptance is a happy surprise.

Ah, the mind games that people who are smart enough to do well on the LSAT can play with themselves to make an otherwise unbearable reality bearable.

I'm 3.76/166 with a very good job and lor's, and I've published an advocacy report for a non-profit. I too am expecting WL or rejection at NU. Although that's not a mind game, it's just evidence based.

The worst part of this wait is that my brother is at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and I go visit him 3 times a week, and I see the law school there just haunting me. More detail, posted last Friday.

Ok ED people. Tue Dec-11 was the date in 2007 that they made ED admits. Thu Dec-18 was the date they did it in 2008. And Wed Dec-14 was the date they did it in 2005. If history is any judge, we're likely to get ED word in the next week or so.

For RD folks, in 2008 they didn't send out decisions until Jan, after ED rejections. In 2007 they sent out RD acceptances more or less concurrent with ED rejections around Dec-18. So you could be around the corner or 5 weeks away.

Right, as far as people fighting for the Germans in the second world war, Rommel wasn't so much of a Nazi. And as far as anyone enabling hitler to remain in power can be not responsible for the war crimes committed in that war, he wasn't responsible for the war crimes. i interviewed before t'giving, and my status checker has said "pending interview" since then. i emailed awhile back asking about this... they told me not to worry, that my checker would eventually update. it's been two more weeks, and my checker STILL says "pending interview date" ... i don't want to hassle them, but should i call?
