Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm expecting the first few interview requests to go out Tuesday next week. The waiting is killing me.

What is everyone's fall back option if they were to receive a ding from Columbia next week?

Vandy I'm happy but excited to hear back soon! Even a rejection would be better than never hearing... can't wait to narrow down my options.

My guess is, emails for interviewees (don't be surprised if only one or two TLSrs report) on Tuesday; 2nd reserve email on wednesday, and those without the 2nd reserve email = rejected via snail mail

I think we're all more certain about next week being a movement week than we are about Tuesday specifically. That said CLS historically has kicked off wait list movement early in the week, and last year and the year before (with the exception of a Friday feeler) people got interview requests on a Tuesday.

Tl;dr - To answer your question, the reason we all think next tuesday is d-day is because we're a bunch of speculative, obsessed assholes who have no idea about anything.

I think Columbia is one of three (maybe four) waitlist->admits that I'll attend at sticker. If I don't get a good option, I'm applying ED to one or two schools next year alongside a handful of regular apps. Splitter x 11 WLs life.
