OMG better still be telling us what's in the package. I'm invested now! hahahkatthegreat11 wrote:So the question is now, what is in your package lol cause it's clearly not the Vanderbilt acceptance package.taxman14 wrote:Haha alright then, I'd recommend signing up for USPS alerts then to all who haven't done it yetjlc058 wrote:Haha I am really not sure why you are taking this so wrong nevermind!taxman14 wrote:jlc058 wrote:
unless they didn't get in...hence the anxiousness. I meant not everyone has a package alert to know for sure they are getting a nice big congrats package
Sorry? I thought this site was supposed to be about sharing what the progress is so others can know to check as well... lol
Someone said they were anxious about your package arrival- you said there was no reason you were sure it was an acceptance because it was a package- and I said it is much more anxiety inducing if aren't signed up for USPS alerts and know things are being delivered today but don't know what-none of that was critical to you at all, was merely commenting on the overall freakout that takes a hold of everyone when there is sign of movement from a school on any of these forums. It'll likely update and if it says there's a package then you're in!

Haha will do! I'm just getting home now so I'll see if it came. Does anyone know what the VLS Black Box referenced in the email is?BrittanyJeream wrote:OMG better still be telling us what's in the package. If you read the bottom of the acceptance email it should tell you more about it, but it's basically a box full of everything you would need to know about transitioning and living in the area. It's like a super cool welcome package that everyone looks forward to if accepted lol. There are one or two articles about it online if you google it a bit.taxman14 wrote:Haha will do! Wow guys what a coincidence!!! Someone just sent me a package and they wrote the wrong address haha.
So there was no package for me but it happened to coincide with the day we were accepted. What a world.

Lol if only they knew how hard they trolled you. Thank goodness acceptances actually did come out today, that would have been a disappointment.taxman14 wrote:Wow guys what a coincidence!!! Someone just sent me a package and they wrote the wrong address haha.

I guess now that people are getting accepted and all, I'll reiterate that I'm a recent alum, also alumni interviewer, and will take questions in this thread (or via pm if you prefer).
Congrats to everyone!

Me too, but Vandy is a bit of a reach for me. Hoping for a waitlist at the best so I can beg or something.call-me-bubbles wrote:Also, still only showing "complete" here.

It's been a few days and still haven't heard anything about an interview. Sort of peeved

It can take a bit for them to find one near you and ask if they're available. We have to manually accept every interview, and I don't know how long admissions waits without a response before moving on to someone else.Rubbishdump wrote:It's been a few days and still haven't heard anything about an interview. Seriously? What are you waiting for?
