The financial aid section on the application, does that only refer to applying for need based aid?

Just got invited for an interview! Any advice beyond what has already been posted? (which was very useful btw, I just like being prepared).

Is there a status checker? Submitted my app around a week ago and haven't gotten anything in terms of that.

I had mine the other day via Skype. She was very friendly and honest about how good of fit she thought I was. I just talked with her a lot about wanting to be engaged in the work. I think they're looking to see if you would do well, not necessarily how good of a candidate you are for their stats. The question that surprised me was "What does your perfect three year plan." I wasn't very eloquent, just honest.
I don't think they offer admission after interviews anymore. At least my interviewer was not a direct admissions counselor, as she said she would "write a review".

Does getting an interview request indicates admission any more?

Yes, I think it's considered the "second round." My email invitation said something about interviewing me early because I was a very strong candidate. But I'm a splitter - 161/3.89jasonxi wrote:Does getting an interview request indicates admission any more?

Interviewed yesterday, received the acceptance email by 9:30a today.
Splitter well above 75th LSAT, well below 25th GPA.
Anyone know how their travel stipends work (either for a visit or for ASW?) I'd love to see St. Louis

WOW that was fast, congrats!! Anyone else get in that quickly? I thought my interview was great but it's been two days... if you got in that fast I'm wondering if the interviewer didn't have as much pull as I thought and they are still unsure b/c of my stats?

I think you just have to ask and they'll give you one for either.apricots wrote:Interviewed yesterday, received the acceptance email by 9:30a today.

No, during business hours via email. I should note that my LSAT is barely under median.Madiscone wrote:Did you hear after business hours? I did not get scholly info yet, but I also haven't checked snail mail. Also I did email and they said they'd be happy to help with a travel stipend; I think I'll wait til the second semester starts and check it out. Anyone know if they email scholly info?Chipotle85 wrote:Congrats!! Did you get any scholarship info?
