Got scholarship info today. Tom C. Clark Scholarship. I'm guessing that's just a generic name with no significant meaning?

That's former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America Tom C. Clark to you, mister

You're never going to be chillaxing playing pool in the Tom C. Clark Lounge if you keep that attitude up

Got the Dean's Presidential Scholarship via email, $60,000 over three years.

Idk if anyone can confirm, but I think they're low balling me?

I get the vibe that many people have been low-balled from looking at MyLSN and through private messages with others.

Yeah, it looks like there were a ton of full rides last year with much lower stats. Is this just what they do pre-negotiation?

I felt this way when I saw my offer too. I have to think it's related to their negotiation expectations

Yeah, I saw a clear difference within my friend group that are applying this cycle. I think they are hoping we don't go off and negotiate with another school for a higher scholarship and come back to negotiate with Texas. Hence the clear statement of them not wanting to go into a "bidding war"...

In via phone call today! LSAT > 75, 25<GPA<50. OOS, no why Texas but have a ton of connections to Texas (the state, not the school). So excited! For sure in top three for me.

I personally did not have a Kira interview, but I have friends (at least 2 who I know of for sure) who were recently asked to do it. Their LSATs are below 25th but their GPAs are either above 50th or above 75th.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

In today via voicemail, and the Dean made a nice personal comment referring to my Why Texas. I wish I had gotten to speak with her!

Does anyone here prefer UT to the T14? If so, why?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
