Is their website down for everyone or is it just me?

Question: my personal statement is 12pt font but my why berkeley and the rest of my docs were 11pt font. Mostly due to spacing. Do you think this matters? My PS is 4 pages...don't want them thinking I made the font bigger to make it seem longer...

Are you referring to the status checker or their website in general? My status checker has been on and off (currently on though)sarasashasara wrote:Is their website down for everyone or is it just me?

Given that plenty of people submitted two page personal statements and still got in both in this cycle and previous cycles, I wouldn't worry too much about this. As long as there aren't major typos/things that make your formatting hard to read, I think you're good. You didn't actually mess up any of their directions.Keilz wrote:Question: my personal statement is 12pt font but my why berkeley and the rest of my docs were 11pt font. Mostly due to spacing. Got out of work to find a voicemail from the Dean admitting me! And I was very excited to hear there is "money for students to come visit"!

For those already admitted, how long did it take for your status checker to update?

Berkeley Pls - The Saga of Nov. 29-Dec. ?
On a more serious note, any guess how long it's going to take them to get to the apps that went under review 11/16?

I went UR 11/2 and haven't heard anything yet. It looks like the most recent poster who was accepted was UR 10/18 so I'd venture to guess you've got somewhat of a wait.criley01 wrote:Berkeley Pls - The Saga of Nov. 29-Dec. ?

Someone did post something about all acceptances finding out by 12/12 a bit back in the thread (from the tweet about the call backlog)

The tweet sent out says "All new admits will receive email beginning week of 12/12," which I interpreted as them switching from calls to emails that week, not necessarily getting out decisions by then.lawlzschool wrote:I went UR 11/2 and haven't heard anything yet. Makes sense. I assumed one step further and figured [hoped?] email would be more of a bulk thing (since there shouldn't be a reason why they would send them one by one like a phone call)dmc1275 wrote:The tweet sent out says "All new admits will receive email beginning week of 12/12," which I interpreted as them switching from calls to emails that week, not necessarily getting out decisions by then.lawlzschool wrote:I went UR 11/2 and haven't heard anything yet. I did my ugrad at Berkeley though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they actually DID do it one at a time due to some sort of technical shortcoming

Just went under review yesterday. At least they didn't just auto-reject me! Not sure if I'd attend but an admit to Berkeley would give me some serious thinking to do. Median LSAT and 50%>GPA<25%.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
