Just admitted via status checker! I am THRILLED!

Interviewed yesterday and thought it went well. GPA above 75th, LSAT between 25 and 50th. Good work experience.

Interviewed earlier today. Went okay I think. Questions were pretty standard with a lot of sell uva. 20 mins. Feverish refreshing of the status checker begins now

Great reviews from former / current students -- people really seem to enjoy being there, which seems to be somewhat unique among the top law schools. They also have great employment numbers, an interesting history, and are just a few hours from DC, where I'd ultimately like to practice. It also helps that they're likely one of the best schools I'll be able to get into as a splitter.

Nah, white dude with a lot of years in the military, a ball buster undergrad, and a 4.0 in a master's program. My goal was to make it tough for them to say no and hope for the best. Guess I did. To whoever asked, the status tracker says wait list now. Couldn't tell you if the email came first or that did, but both were today.

Received my admissions packet in the mail today too, nothing updated on the status checker. The only thing listed for me under "Mailings" is the email they sent when I went complete.
