I received an email this morning "gauging my interest." I'm on the preferred waitlist but not on the "preferred" preferred. Was this a mass email?

Also on the preferred wait list. No email, though.

On the preferred wait list and heard nothing. My friend had similar stats and had already received two e-mails and a call. Trying not to be desperate but the silence is killing me.

I have a theory that they are doing it alphabetically, and because my last name is close to the end of the alphabet, that is why I am hearing radio silence. Would your name and your friends name support this theory? If so, there is hope. we will be going there!

I like this theory. Preferred WL - last name toward the end of the alphabet also

I think it is regional. Someone on this thread had a group interview in NY. This saturday it's only people in the DC area. Prior to my invite to the interview this saturday, I received no calls or other personalized communications.

+2. I find it interesting we haven't heard anything from the regular waitlist - around this time last year, someone on TLS from the regular waitlist had gotten in.

Also got this email this morning. fwiw I haven't sent them anything since receiving my preferred waitlist notification, so perhaps they just sent it to those of us who haven't sent LOCIs or anything to see if we're still interested

I was on the preferred waitlist and this morning I got the email I'm in. For all of you trying to figure out a method to the madness in from Florida and my last name starts with S. Good luck to everyone !!

I also posted yesterday about getting a call on Tuesday and I received an email this morning telling me I got in! I never interviewed or sent in LOCI. Good luck everyone!

Unfortunately my friend and I don't fit in your theory or the region theory...And my friend is in today. I guess they are just sending e-mails and calling those people they would like to admit....

Yeah, I was gonna say, as far as I'm concerned, being on preferred hasn't really made me feel very... "preferred" #revolution
