Dude, that's just maddening. My one WL is driving me nuts; I can't imagine 8.

I love how in the waitlist email they act like you are SUCH a qualified applicant and they just don't have room right now for you. I'm all like, bitch please, if I was a "qualified" applicant you should be sending me an acceptance letter. Ugh.

I'll only stay on Chicago and a theoretical HLS; the rest I will sweep away when I make my deposit!

I don't have much time to ride these waitlists, as I'm locked in for summer start (May 31st start date) at Michigan with a scholarship. I am working on LOCI's now and will send them soon, as well as head to Duke for an interview.

To be honest, I really, really love Michigan, and I see myself being the happiest there. But, my goal is BigLaw and I realize other T14's would probably give me better options. Although, as I've learned, UM has made big changes in the last few years: considerably reduced class size, and got rid of punitive grading curve. These changes won't play out in employment stats until next year's class graduates.

Question for you all, not sure if you can answer. I was waitlisted at a few schools and my current employer offered to write me an additional LOR, which is great since the 2 I have were done by professors. My question is, how would he go about sending it? To LSAC? I guess that makes the most sense right?
