I have very similar stats and was accepted! fingers crossed for you.
That's reassuring to hear. Thank you, and congratulations! If you don't mind me asking when did you submit and then receive your decision ?

I think you're probably gonna get it, as long as your resume, personal statement, LORs, etc. are solid.
Thank you for the quick response! I am just so nervous. But fingers crossed for a decision soon. My app was complete 11/17

Oh wow! Such a fast turn around. My application was complete 11/17. Makes me nervous that I haven't heard anything yet :/

Has anyone been accepted/rejected over email?

I am an international student so not expecting a call. I went complete 11/14 and applied ED, so should be hearing something any day now.

Application sent! Really wish I had the background for the Epstein program, though.

I'm in the same boat, for what it's worth. I also have similar stats and went complete 11/10, but still have yet to hear anything. Kinda weird!

I was shocked (and thrilled) by how fast my turnaround was. I did a why UCLA and applied to Epstein (no word on that, though)..not sure if somehow this pushed my app through faster. I'm sure others from November will hear soon!

Is a "why Ucla" an additional essay? I didn't see anything like that in the application. I wrote about a program I am extremely interested in for the programmatic contribution, but that's it. I am also interested in public interest but decided against Epstein because I think I would rather work in criminal law to support my cause.

Yeah, why X essays are sent as additional essays or emailed after applying. Unless a school of course asks you to include it as part of the application.

Any idea which days of the week the admissions committee meets? What dates have people been accepted on?

I have been wondering the same thing. I live abroad, so I am not expecting a phone call, but it appears that is how UCLA prefers to operate.
Sent them an email this morning, will see if they respond.

I applied in Sept, and in Oct I got a couple of emails from admissions asking follow up questions pertaining to my app (which I took as interest on their part). Still no word whatsoever. I'm really confused.

Same boat. I'm American but lived abroad, so I'm not sure what to expect-- although their email did state their admission decisions would be sent through e-mail.

(Completed 11/30)

Really? What kind of questions if I may ask, just curious? (But no pressure if you prefer not to respond)

11/23 - Application received email.
11/30 - Application complete email.
12/3 - Acceptance call from Dean Schwartz. Much surprise.
Gah same dates for me-- but no decision yet, so probably not as lucky as you-- but congrats!!!!

It was about the Epstein PI program. I had indicated on my app that I was interested in PI Law, but I didn't apply for the program. They contacted me to ask if I was interested, so I explained why I didn't apply: I don't have the necessary experience to be a competitive candidate at moment, but I have an internship with Legal Aid lined up for this spring, and I was also hoping to be able to get a PI summer externship. I explained that my intent was to apply after 1L after gaining experience. He seemed satisfied with that and then sent another email thanking me for my interest, etc...

I couldn't understand why they'd go to the trouble of sending that inquiry if they weren't considering admitting me. That was two months ago.

So I am just finishing my application up and there is a spot for my ssn, but it only fits 4 numbers so I just decided to leave it out. Then, I got to the end of the application and it says I have to disclose my social security. What should i do?

You need to include the last 4 digits of your social in the box provided.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
