Now that everything is pretty much over, what are your thoughts on Stanford Law?

Umm, it's the best fucking school in the entire goddamned world. I will be there this fall and am personally just grateful that I get to post in the C/O 2019 thread, where we actually have a real OP in fliptrip. Eat caca and die, Dcc617. Your parents hate you.

It's chill bro, but I was already set on Harvard or Yale anyway. I got my shades on to block out all that shade from CA. Enjoy the earthquakes, hippies.

I personally can't stand Stanford, its administration, and especially its admissions office. I waited patiently for 4-7 months only to get waitlisted or rejected less than a week before May. Seriously, go home Stanford, you're drunk (unless you accept me off the waitlist, then I will love you)

Meh, I mean, this was a total long shot for me. I just wanted to see what would happen. This is what I thought would happen.

I'm totally indifferent to Stanford, because I am super happy with the option I am going with. Grow up, Dcc617. You're embarrassing yourself with this poll.

I will be Seymour Asses from Futurama, and Stanford is my Fry. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? I WILL FUCKING DIE ON THE WAITLIST!

I am a lurker. I may not have even applied anywhere this cycle. My motives for lurking this thread are entirely inscrutable and apparently I have nothing better to do with my life.

Dcc617, stop making every other poll option about yourself. While you are very handsome, your constant narcissism and self-indulgence has become off-putting.

Don't read too much into it. That is just Stanford's version of "complete."

Stanford's win tonight over Notre Dame has stirred my latent Stanford hype.

I also think it's because there's no news and nobody really has a good chance at acceptance. Not even the OP.

You're just jealous cuz the people love me. My polls are both clever and relatable.

Haha, I wasn't talking about acceptance chances, although that too, but about OPing schools with NO news and no status checkers (or barely active status checkers in Stanford's case).

I was to lazy to do it, but I bet you could find a Donald Trump that's virtually identical to your last couple posts.

Submitted yesterday. Even though it's Saturday I'm still desperately awaiting any sort of communication. Now I don't know what to do with myself. Cry? Drink? Cry and drink my tears? Clearly I'm not going to get anything productive done for many, many weeks.

Is it true that Stanford offers full rides if you come from a home that made less than $20,000/yr?

Woah woah woah... what? I assumed that all of HYS' need-based aid systems would be similar. I have no knowledge of anyone but H's aid system but if Stanford's is like that then that is amazing news.

ETA: I checked it out and that is not true; their need-based aid is pretty much identical with H's, meaning that regardless of how much demonstrated need one has, one is expected to either raise, earn, or take out loans of around $40k before any grants come into play.

Only 40k?

85,968 is the total COA and the tuition is 54,183.

That means you'd only have to pay 8,215 for tuition. That's like 85% tuition off.
