My guess is probably not nearly as much as median, but it doesn't hurt to be above that number.Generally wrote:Does 25% GPA matter? Assuming I got over it, which I may be able to, do schools give a damn? It is still below median.doublehoohopeful wrote:I'll take that 25% GPA drop, though.urbanist11 wrote:Nice timing lol. Went to visit UT-Austin last year and I loved it. I too am a fan of the Salary+COL benefits that Texas offers.Generally wrote:I want to practice in Texas. I have never been, but I like the idea of making nyc money and still tn cost of living.
edit for poll explanation: Voted "Other" for the unicorn Austin job. Second choice would probably be Dallas.

I can definitely appreciate thatbasedvulpes wrote:In my mind you're a pretty solid candidate if you're between the 25th and 75th GPA medians, assuming that your LSAT is above median. Below 25th is where unpredictable things start to happen.Generally wrote:Does 25% GPA matter? Assuming I got over it, which I may be able to, do schools give a damn? I was really excited to have a decision in August, guess noturbanist11 wrote:No worries I made the same mistake. The next 2 weeks of just waiting for press submit are going to be pretty rough.gobears!! wrote:Thanks, shows how much I knew. I thought the deadline was the first all along but saw it was going to be available on LSAC today and got my waiver email the other day. Got excited that they were changing it up hah.urbanist11 wrote:You should have gotten an invite specifically mentioning priority track, which you then have to register for. You can fill your app out today, but you will not be able to submit until 9/1.gobears!! wrote:Checking in and trying to submit today! I received a fee waiver on Friday but don't know about this priority business since I was an auto reject last time I applied. Does it specifically have language regarding being on a priority track? Excuse me if I missed something. I will be applying regardless.

Part of me wants to stay in DC, the other part wants to become a Navy JAG, live in San Diego, and have Danger Zone on repeat.urbanist11 wrote:Tough beansHildegard15 wrote:This is the most brutal poll question.
