From 2013, here are the $164,000 scholarships (I'm assuming Dillards?) offered.
LSAT-GPA-Sent
172-3.95-10/15
166-3.86-11/16 (URM)
172-4.0-NA

172-3.87-11/21

173-3.9-1/3
175-3.9-9/1

And $160,000 scholarships:
169-3.97-1/13
173-3.9-12/13
175-3.7-11/27
171-3.9-11/10

And $150,000 scholarships:

171-3.93-11/27
171-3.99-1/15
That's
fifteen offered (presumably) Dillards just on LSN, which I've heard is about 10% of applicants. That seems a little off.
Plus, look at how Duke - a private, lower ranked, lower LST score school - gives fewer and less scholarships! Do you guys know anything about how UVA does scholarships?
from my research, it seems they prefer 171+ and high GPAs (though there are some sub 171s ofc in the data, but those seem to be the exception rather than the rule). on top of that, UVA, probably more than any other T14, really looks for a strong interest in UVA over other top schools. they are the YP king, after all. not to say you won't get good $$$ without one or more of those criteria, but that's what I would be shooting for if I really wanted the Dillard.
I have YP #s, but I think I did an excellent job conveying my interest in UVA in my why UVA statement and in my interview, which I'm sure was at least part of the reason I got the Dillard, esp since my other softs are average/below average. visiting is a good way, imo, to convey interest beyond the internet research that goes into a Why X, though ofc that's going to be cost/time prohibitive for a lot of people. if you do visit, be sure to talk about it in your interview.
and yeah, re: duke, some schools are just more generous with aid than others, and UVA has historically given out good $.
