weird that nobody else heard anything.
I looked at all the users displayed on the LSN UT graph right now. All of them have statuses that were updated last spring or earlier. For some reason, LSN is displaying info from the 2013-2014 cycle on the 2014-2015 graphs. It had the opposite problem on my account; when I got my first two acceptances from this cycle, it posted them on the graphs for the 2013-2014 cycles at those schools. I figured out how to correct it, though.
The dates clearly indicate the 2014 cycle.

Well, that's interesting. That guy's not on the graph.

Ah, I see. Good point.

Mine has two boxes. One says "Current File Status" where it notates that all of my items have been received, then under that is another box that says "Status Updates." Under status updates it says "your application was processed on September 16, 2014 and is currently being considered for early admission."

Would it be worth applying to UT now with my stats (3.71 / 166), or should I wait until after my retake in December, since I'm almost certain I can improve my score? Would the early application help at all, or will I not even go complete until after my December score?

So, Rebexness got an admit? That's hella early, but congratulations!

I'm still just sitting here, pacing a groove in the floor.

Are you planning to apply ED? The only reason I applied ED is because of the $10,000/yr stipend Texas residents receive if accepted through ED. If no, and you think you can bring up your score, I would say wait. That's just my opinion though. My understanding is that UT isn't as generous as some schools, so the higher the LSAT the better the chance of receiving $$.

LOLNO.

I just found it on LSN bc i am a superstalker.
If I remember correctly, it looked like he got the call on 9/24. I wonder why we haven't seen at least one more acceptance since Friday. He's an awesome candidate, but I can't imagine them extending only one offer in three days. I have also been answering every 512 number I don't know just in case. It has just been groups calling me about voting :|

Nah, he applied 10/02/14, complete 10/14/14, and Decision 10/24/14
Sorry, meant 10/24. Still, that seems like a quick turnaround for UT, doesn't it?

FWIW I was in the first batch two years ago and I think it was early November. Should have the exact day on my LSN (same name, I'm too busy drinking beer ATM to look it up but you guys are welcome to)

FWIW people I know who ED'd last year got it in 4-7 days from submitting when closer to the deadline.

In regards to the status checker: IGNORE IT. It won't even update as accepted until awhile after you get the phone call from Dean Ingram (who is an awesome adcomm!)

EDIT: Also remember, there have been fairs and such going on recently where they've been travelling, so I'd expect it to be a week or so until decisions start rolling out.

Sorry for not getting in ED, but the good news is they rolled you over!

Do you mind if I ask your numbers and when you applied? Also, are you a TX resident?

Last year, I applied on the ED deadline (Oct 31st or Nov 1st - can't remember which), and was accepted right before Thanksgiving. From the email Dean Ingram sent out, it sounded like anything pre-Thanksgiving was definitely "first wave", and when I got the invite to the FB group, I think there were only about a dozen members in it before me.
