Email from Cornell (Connie P - Adm coord) three days ago:

"We plan to notify waiver recipients later this week, so if you can hold on that long hopefully it will be worth it

Something about Cornell just appeals to me, I'd take it over everything below Penn. Im from Toronto, so maybe I just wanna spend some time in a small town, maybe the cold appeals to me, maybes its cause its the closest T14 to Toronto, the small class size, NY placement, or maybe im just a ivy-prestige whore. Either way, I'd take it over MVBDNG at equal scholarship.

Although I did put them in order, I dont think there really is. Maybe P places a little better and G a little worse, but I think its truly a wash between the rest. I cant see a difference between UVa and Cornell.

Cornell is getting real irritating with this lack-of-waiver shtick they've got going right now.

Yes. I took in Sept and got one on Monday unsolicited.

Status checker still says complete, but the date changed to 11/5. Does this mean something/anything? (Went complete 9/5 and this is the first time my date has changed since then)

Got this too, also confused--doesn't seem to match up with the 'What to Expect' thread.

"Your application is complete and will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review. Over time you may notice that your current status date will change even though your current status does not. These date changes mean that your file is moving through our internal review process. You should receive a decision by mid-to-late April or sooner."
