I actually have the exact same question. For the other degrees, I think it would make sense that they are referring to the immediate. But for the JD/LL.M. degree, do they have offerings other than the one with Cambridge? I guess there might be students setting up separate JD/LL.M. joint degrees with permission, but I wasn't sure if Harvard was referring to the Cambridge program in their application (the actual application process for the program starts during the winter of 2L). Am I just overthinking things?

They aren't thinking of the Cambridge program at all. No one coming in knows if that'll be in their future. And as far as I know, the Cambridge program is the only JD/LLM.

Right there with you. Harvard and Stanford are the only two reaches I applied to so a lot is riding on their decisions. Here's hoping for the best for both of us!
