Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
Checking in. Applied last week RD. Does anyone else's status checker just show the status and not have a date. Mine says "Application Completed" but there isn't a date under it like there was for other application status checkers.

This is what I was getting at in my last post...glad to know I'm not alone. Maybe they changed it this year? Kind of a bummer.

You should list your interweb translation skills on your resume, because I wasn't close lol.smccgrey wrote:I'm guessing:Winston1984 wrote:Confused about what you are asking.niplomo wrote:166/3.44 Checking in????

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
Visited campus several times. Great facilities. Even sat in on a few classes as my SO at time was attending. Students seem to enjoy both evening social life and discussion. Word of advice. If you are attending on the belief that you will have all the time in the world to see everything in DC, think again as studying will take up the vast majority of your outside class hours. If you think DC is right for you, this is where you want to be.

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
Anyone gone through these first few days of group interviews? Mine was supposed to be today, but I couldn't make it because of work.

Just out of curiosity why not ED? Im not expecting any kind of scholarship regardless and I feel like ED might be my best chance especially seeing as how GULC is my top choice for various reasons.smccgrey wrote:I'm guessing:Winston1984 wrote:Confused about what you are asking.niplomo wrote:166/3.44 Checking in????

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
I think that because Im below medians it may play a hand in getting me accepted. Im not sure about your numbers but if you're above their medians then I definitely understand not applying ED. To be honest, seeing as how GULC is my first choice, I can see my self getting rejected Regular Decision and always wondering if I should have applied ED. At least if I get rejected ED, then I know there was nothing more to do this cycle. Or if I get it then Ill be at my dream school.smccgrey wrote:TBH I wanted to ED at first too, but the debt load would be unreasonable. I'm not really expecting a huge scholarship either, but you absolutely cannot negotiate if you ED.niplomo wrote: Just out of curiosity why not ED? 2014 Profile:
GULC GPA: 3.48/3.76/3.84
GULC LSAT: 163/167/168
Just under the 25th for GPA and just below the 50th for LSAT

I'm sure this isn't a new article for everyone...but I'm kind of banking on these numbers

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
I know it's really early to be asking this, but where are you guys thinking of living if you did attend GULC? Chinatown seems to be the best option. I wouldn't mind living in NE either, but just not sure about late night walks home from the library, etc. I spent my undergrad summers in DC but never really ventured outside NW. Any thoughts?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
