Bleh trying to not lose hope but

Straight up had a hard time sleeping last night and had a faye-mare. In my dream, I saw faye and tried talking to her about how badly I want in and why she should accept me...except I sounded like Donald Duck and she couldn't understand me. It was horrible lol

ETA: I amend this to Harvard isn't worth your grief as this is a Stanford WL thread and Yale is the undisputed fairy tale castle of law schools.

Someone earlier said they received a confirmation email after submitting their LOCI. Have other people received these? I sent a snail mail letter immediately after being waitlisted, then an email to Faye about 4 weeks letter, yet neither time did I hear anything back. Maybe they're all just getting autoforwarded to the trash with my initial application.

You emailed faye directly? I always emailed all my docs to the admissions people. So far, I've always received a reply within a day saying that the additional xyz was added to my file. I don't think they email you or notify you if they receive a physical copy though... But I could be wrong

By the way, I wanted to ask if Stanford typically admits people off the WL later (like late June-July) and if this year was an anomaly with them taking people so early in June. I noticed that Harvard seems to be slowing down and already sending WL rejections, so I'm curious to see whether that will affect Stanford decision making..

So...if we sent a LOCI last week and it wasn't acknowledged then it most likely wasn't added to our file? I emailed it directly to the admissions office and I have heard they are generally quick to respond so I'm pessimistic my email got through. Also, congratulations to all who were admitted!

Thanks! I'm rooting for you. I will do that. It would be pretty unfortunate to ruin my already small chance at admission because of an email error haha.

I remember from last year's WL thread that they started pulling off the WL around the end of June (about the equivalent of this week). I don't know if this year's timeline is an anomaly. Maybe they also had a slightly different timeline 2 or 3 years ago.

I'm still hoping that the recent admits just got to hear the good news super-early, and the "normal" set of acceptances will start coming out this week/next week.
