What does that mean for the rest of us? What have patterns in past years indicated about the rate at which one goes from WL to UR and acceptance?

Went through LSN's stats for the 2012-13 cycle and then this year's updated stats, thought I'd share for your reference. Thought this may be more useful bc there have been 10% drops in applicants every year so the past three years of data may be a bit skewed, regardless it's another type of information. I included the info for straight admits/rejects for splitters because there were significantly fewer splitters waitlisted this cycle and I wanted to see why:

2012-13 GPA>median, LSAT>median:
waitlisted: 9
remaining: 4
accepted: 1 (25% of remaining)
rejected: 1

2013-14 GPA>median, LSAT>median:
waitlisted: 8
remaining: 2
accepted: ?

2012-13 GPA>median, LSAT<median:
waitlisted: 40
remaining: 23
accepted: 6 (26% of remaining)

2013-14 GPA>median, LSAT<median:
waitlisted: 45
remaining: 29
accepted: 4 so far

2012-13 GPA<median, LSAT>median:
Straight admit: 61
Straight rejected: 8
waitlisted: 21
remaining: 16
accepted: 11 (69% of remaining)

2013-14 GPA<median, LSAT>median:
Straight admit: 63
Straight rejected: 3

I just called their office and they wouldn't tell me how many students remain on their wait list (she said it fluctuates too much), she also said that they don't know how many offers they'll make this summer but that right now their class is full and it depends on attrition. From LSN it looks like there were a bunch of offers made later in the summer.

Same information was communication to me as well. Based on last's year main NYU page on this forum, there appeared to be a large wave at the end of July . Given the recent acceptance offers at the other T-14 schools, I am sure there will be some offers in mid-July. At least I hope so!

Didn't see any HYS movement on LSN recently but I didn't realize how much HYS activity off the wait list there's been this cycle on LSN: 13 accepted at Harvard and 3 at Stanford.

Looks like Stanford had 3 more acceptances off the wait list according to LSN....hopefully we see some wait list movement soon!

Seems that in the past feeler e-mails are a way for them to yield protect so they e-mail before making an offer of admission. Can I ask when you got your e-mail (as in time of day) and your stats?
