:D :D :D

And if that doesn't work, I will see you in Durham for the first-ever meeting of the Duke Law Boardgame Society.
Holy CRAP! I think I have to matriculate at Duke now.
NYU has a "law students of catan" student group.
I know, I know. But NYU also is very expensive. Just think of how many more games I could buy with the savings.

I mean, there's always declaring bankruptcy.
Other than the fact that student loans are nondischargeable, this seems like a foolproof plan.

This is why we are starting the Duke Law Society of Boardgame Players (DLSBP). We will accept games of many types, as long as they are good.

HLS facebook group has 503 members now.

Hoping that people who are set on Y/S will withdraw soon.

I doubt they'll be looking to find people with my background (lol at specifically searching out white, male K-JDs), but I imagine the applicants with the highest numbers have the best options, and thus HLS will need a GPA boost soon :D

They may try to maintain the diversity of the class when the admit off the WL, but they still need their numbers.

Ehh... Forget GPA, I think they care most about their LSAT 75th for waitlist admits... :P

Any of you also going to Columbia if the waitlist doesn't work out? Would love to correspond with you and get your thought process!

Based on the spreadsheet it seems like Columbia is the top choice for many people on the waitlist.

Haha I'm just playing. At this point, I'm trying to manage expectation so that an acceptance would be entirely unexpected... and amazing

Jeez, I always disappear from these free-for-all spreadsheets

I'm beginning to think that someone hates me...

I think Columbia thinks I'm going to HLS. Too bad HLS didn't get the memo...

Also, I hope there really are only a handful of URMs on the WL.

Anyone think the personal statement is undervalued on this forum? I know a lot of people on here see it as something that doesn't do much for an application, but it seems like that's also where you could really sell yourself as someone interesting, and not just a run of the mill applicant.

I think once you're at the level of school that Harvard is at, every part of your application is important and nothing should be taken for granted.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
