I really like the wide array of clinical programs they have, Shelli (the associate dean I believe) seems like she's a real driving different behind the students and those on the student panel had stellar things to say about her and how helpful she was, the career services actively finds you a job rather than passively expecting you to come in, and the staff overall were really friendly and insightful. The student orgs are vast though I don't expect, and was told not to expect, to be highly involved first semester as you'll basically end up visiting meetings for the free food and eventually fall into what you enjoy. I ran into students at the bars and they were beyond friendly. I just love the atmosphere in general, above all elseStella77 wrote:Yay! I visited this past Wednesday, wish I could have made it today. I loved the ASD! Everything was really awesome. The student orgs seem vast and actually interesting, and all of the students were friendly. It seems like a good atmosphere. I just need to hear back about my scholarship negotiation now. Has anyone tried to up their scholarship?

I just visited ASU and everyone was very friendly. They offered me decent money which makes me consider this school a lot. Anyone have any suggestions as to local eateries or bars to check out while i am in town tonight and tomorrow? Anyone interested in getting a drink tonight or tomorrow night

I'm in the same boat as you. Haven't heard back in a week but I'm hoping that it means they are considering it.

Who did you send yours to? Have you tried to contact to confirm they got it? I emailed Shelli, but didn't get a confirmation that she got it or anything.rpollock11 wrote:leftfootlucy wrote:I loved the ASD! Everything was really awesome. I sent it to Chitra. She replied today saying that she would forward it on to Joseph Lindsay, the director of financial aid. So it might be wise to send an email to him since it looks like he's handling the scholarship negotiations.
