Application Complete - 1/24
Current Status: Admitted
Current Status Date:3/1/2013
Still no activity in the mailings section. Should I see a notification in the mailings before a letter is sent?

I got my updated LSAT score today, and I improved by 20 percentile points
. Now I just have to wait for my apps to be updated!
Does the LSAC send the scores automatically or do I have to send the reports again?

Trying to decide between Santa Clara University and the University of San Diego. Unfortunately I haven't received money from either and just recently updated my FAFSA to include USD. Paying full for both is... pretty daunting. I had an LSAT of 155 gpa of 3.3. Any tips or advice regarding a decision or means of paying for school would be great! Anyone else making a similar decision?!

@ thuyn011 - I was admitted to Santa Clara today. I don't know how much money yet, but yeah, 200K+ in debt for a degree is serious money. In regards to your decision, what kind of law do you want to practice? Where do you want to practice? Experience? UG major?

I got my acceptance packet without any offer of a scholarship. Safe to assume I won't be receiving anything?

Put my 1st deposit down! Going here!! I have not heard back from only one school - but it was a long-shot anyway, so I'm not holding my breath.
Good luck to the rest of you in deciding!

ASD was pretty nice - it is a gorgeous campus, so it's hard to go wrong on a nice sunny cali day with palm trees all around...apinarba wrote:anyone go to asd? how was it?

I hate waiting
.
At least I'm getting out of town for a few days. Hopefully Dallas will take my mind off things. But I know I'll end up checking my application status repeatedly anyway.

Has anyone tried negotiating with Santa Clara for more money?

It seems they have pretty tough stips too. Top quarter seems a little steep, when most have been top half or third.whsy wrote:Has anyone tried negotiating with Santa Clara for more money?

Still waiting also. I called the admissions office a week or two ago and they said that they are sending out a lot of decisions in March...hopefully not all rejections.

I emailed Dean Polden after I got my updated LSAT score, so I know they should be getting to my application soon.
Hopefully...

For those of you who are attending this fall, where do you plan on living? I just paid my deposit today and am looking into housing now....

Shouldn't we be hearing from them soon considering seat deposits are typically due in April for law schools?
