I'm 11/7 and in the same boat. Not worrying yet. I imagine they got a flood after October score release and are catching up. At least, that's what I tell myself

(Does anyone have any information regarding what an interview means in regards to an applicant's chances of admittance?)
*I should add that I applied very early this cycle and my status checker has been "complete" for a couple of months now.
Stats? Urm?

A ton of people on last year's waitlist had a short phone conversation with Dean Perry before being admitted. Usually they got accepted a couple days after the phone interview, but I know at least one TLSer had to wait a couple months.

It appears as though this interview has recently been added to their admissions process.
Here is the link to Chicago's site about the interview.
Thanks for the info...
I know you had previously mentioned considering EDing to Chicago - did you go through with this?

Thanks for the link, and congrats! It appears this is a fairly positive sign.
And here I thought I was done with these Skype interviews, lol.

Agreed. Great, something else to stress about

Has there only been one person (on TLS) invited so far? That seems strange, no?

It's in an applicant FAQ I got as part of a club here and it says not to read anything into the interviews, it is just something they are adding to the process this year for some people.
Getting face time can never be a bad thing though and both Dean Perry and Jayme McKellop are awesome so I wouldn't worry about it at all.

But I suppose not getting an interview can't be too good of a sign especially if you're not an auto lock?

So I am still at "received" as of 11/5. Should I call?

I wouldn't read too much into it unless you're already likely to be rejected (e.g. below both medians). Otherwise it's just too early to tell what their criteria for interviews are -- do they interview 100% of borderline applicants? Is the interview just a checked box before they inevitably accept you? Do they only interview people who would
not get in unless they perform very well in the interview? We'll probably have these questions answered by the end of the cycle, but for now we just have to be patient and remember that no one is finding out anything until around January.

I was the same, but I went complete a couple hours ago and got an update email. I wouldn't call. Just give it a bit, they're still trying to sort out all the October LSAT flood of apps.
