I am also under review as of this afternoon! I submitted RD in mid-October, and the email I received from Penn acknowledging my app seemed to imply that they wouldn't be reviewing RD apps until after they were done with ED peeps...

I just went from complete and in the queue for review to "Under Committee Review."

This post prompted me to check mine and I'm also under review. Not sure when it happened, though, as this is only my second time accessing the status checker.

Not that I've checked multiple times today given all the movement at other schools, but I'd say sometime in the past hour or two. Definitely not before then. Just a guess, though.

I went complete mid-September, so 12 weeks would be about then. Let's hope.

When are we expecting ED admits to start? Last year was 12/9 but it could change with the new system of 2 early decision cycles.

Also under review as of today! Complete in early October. I was expecting nothing earlier than January, but I would not say no to hearing something in December.

Looks like my rejection is being processed faster than i thought =D

I think every app is read by two reviewers, so yeah it should be the last one. Ermm I applied ED so I heard that all the ED applicants find out in waves starting in December..i think the admits find out a week earlier than the waitlists/defers/rejects. If this is true then it doesn't really matter when ED apps go into review cuz we're all finding out at the same time anyway.

If you applied RD then I'd assume that you'd find out a few days after your second review. Unless they wait to make ED decisions before making any RD decisions.

When did you submit? The dean of the law school at UT Austin is my fraternity brother's uncle, when I asked him about the app process at graduation he mentioned that they shift applications in waves/chunks. So if it's taking longer than usual you might have just applied right at the cut-off between waves.

edit: i know UT austin isn't Penn, I'm just assuming most of these schools operate in a similar way

My 2nd UCR was on 11/15, and I haven't heard of or seen any earlier than that. Last year the first 2nd UCRs were a couple of days earlier than the 15th I think and the first decisions (which included acceptances and dings) came out on 12/9, a Friday.

Ahhhh I see what you mean! I applied around nov 3-4 and went complete on nov 9th.
