Re: Berkeley c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013 cycle)
Darnet, I sent an update for my application and said "I've attached my resume to this email" but forgot to attach the darned resume. Realizing this, I sent a email right after apologizing for forgetting to attach the new resume (and I attached it on this email).
Will this hurt me? :*(

Dude, use Gmail. It'll remind you to attach that shit if you try to send it without.JedBartlett wrote:Darnet, I sent an update for my application and said "I've attached my resume to this email" but forgot to attach the darned resume. Shouldn't it remind you to attach something if you wrote "attach(ed)" in the email? Weird. Get a new email service.

Are you even allowed to send attachments in email? I know Harvard won't open email attachments.

Also under review. Luckily, I'm an auto-accept so I'm hardly freaking out at all about the adcomm of my top choice school reading my app. No freaking out over here, nope.

Under review, submitted 10/14.
ETA: Now what? I'm not very good at looking for stuff like this, I admit, but does anyone know when the vast majority of admit decisions go out for Berkeley? Nov? Dec? Jan?

I have stats that are above both 75ths, but I would not have the cockiness to say I'm an auto-ding. And I would also really like to have an opportunity to consider Berkeley.
I can't believe people have the temerity to assume they are in a place they haven't heard back from yet.

My B.
Edit: I used to be a World of Warcraft nerd, and ding had a positive connotation (whenever you leveled up) so I associated "ding" with something positive.

Your comment still applies to canarykb's comment though. And I agree with youJedBartlett wrote:Ohhhhhh.mtrrw wrote:JedBartlett wrote:I have stats that are above both 75ths, but I would not have the cockiness to say I'm an auto-ding. I thought canarykb is being sarcastic, or maybe not.

Yep. Definitely a joke. Berkeley is my top choice so I'm stressed out that they are reading my app right now.maxmartin wrote:I thought canarykb is being sarcastic, or maybe not.
