The initial e-mail mentioned May 11th, due to deposits catching up by mail, and extension requests. We'll probably know more on Monday.

Is anyone else surprised at how quiet it is? I thought this would be more of a roller coaster than a crawl. Maybe this is the calm before the (acceptance) storm.

I'm going through commencement tomorrow, but I've been checking my email incessantly all throughout today: since they originally said that they'd get back to us by May 11th, I'm getting a bit antsy about what's going on. If rumor and hearsay are to be believed, GULC may be out of full-time spots. Then again, different people have heard seemingly contradictory things in the email replies

Today isn't the deadline. It's more like the day they start mining the wait lists for real.

I got that today isn't the deadline. The email that I received just stated (in part) that, "If you don’t hear from us first, the key date for us (and you) is May 1 when our first deposits are due. With the usual extension requests, we will know for sure whether we have any openings by Friday, May 11th at the latest. On our end, we will try to keep you as up to date as possible on the waitlist situation, both before and after May 1st."

Considering this, I was kind of hoping to see some movement. Granted, all of us simply have to be patient and let GULC work at its own pace; at the same time, though, that doesn't stop the fact that at this point I'm personally getting anxious about hearing something new.

I just received an email from Andy. Apparently they're still receiving a strong showing. The gist of his messages was that I'll receive another update on or before May 25th; additionally, they don't expect any more spots to open up before the second deposit date of June 1st.

Mine was similar- she just said that she was writing to update and that there likely won't be much movement. Alison mentioned a response by June 8th- I'm just regular Waitlist though. What are you?

I wonder what the difference between the Allison and Andy email is, I was on the regular wait list and received Allisons's.
