I called and asked this question. She said, "If you had been awarded a scholarship or grant, you have have been notified in your original acceptance packet."

Yeah...$205k is a lot of debt to take on. The monthly payment would be about $1600 with the 25 year repayment plan. However, remember that you can opt for the income-based repayment plan, which could make your payment as low as $500 a month, with the remainder getting canceled after 25 years of payments (or 10 years if you're working for the government). The debt is very daunting, but there is usually always a way to pay it and still live a comfortable life. Just something to consider.

I will be withdrawing this afternoon. At 32 with a wife and child, I am just not comfortable with sticker price living in SoCal. It's expensive enough here with our two salaries...

Nah, no step between those two, but Pepperdine usually finishes sending out most acceptances by the end of March, so GL!
