Accepted with full scholarship!!!!! I live in AZ so all of you that have visited...how is it?!!?!?! I need to make my decision and they're at the top of my list but unfortunately I don't have money to visit
Do they do any type of travel reimbursing?

Yes. Especially if you are a scholarship recipient. However, they only give you the money once you matriculate in the fall... Tricky tricky. Maybe you can use a credit card for now?arizonastategirl23 wrote:Accepted with full scholarship!!!!! I live in AZ so all of you that have visited...how is it?!!?!?! Waitlisted...Kinda bummed but whatev. This school is too expensive anyway. And it's in the middle of the ghetto...I know because I was undergrad there.

Sorry to hear that :/Mactx wrote:Waitlisted...Kinda bummed but whatev. This school is too expensive anyway. And it's in the middle of the ghetto...I know because I was undergrad there.
There's still a chance you could get in, though. A bunch of people that were waitlisted where already taken off the list and accepted.
Also, I wouldn't say it's in the middle of the ghetto.
I'd say it borders the ghetto. Actually, it's sandwiched between a commercial/industrial area and the ghetto.

Ok, true. Amazing how Garden City is that close to a shit town like Hempstead.

If you're heading towards Roosevelt Field there's this crazy transition from Hempstead into Garden City. I forget what street it is, but there's this one street that separates broken down bodegas and multi-million dollar homes.Mactx wrote:apslaw1031 wrote:Sorry to hear that :/Mactx wrote:Waitlisted...Kinda bummed but whatev. To those worried about being waitlisted, don't withdraw yet. I will be withdrawing my acceptance and scholarship offer very soon.

Hey everyone, accepted today!!
Does scholarship info come in the acceptance e-mail? Or is me asking this question making it pretty obvious that I didn't get any money?!

Also if you go to your status checker, you should see scholarship letter listed under mailingsHabeusAwesomus wrote:Hey everyone, accepted today!!

Re: Hofstra Law Class of 2015
Sherlock is right. For me: the status checker noted I was accepted on March 7 then scholarship info was out March 9 but then I called the school on March 16 to let them know I had not received anything in the mail and admissions said they had mailed everything together the past Monday, March 12.Sherlock1708 wrote:Also if you go to your status checker, you should see scholarship letter listed under mailingsHabeusAwesomus wrote:Hey everyone, accepted today!!

So, I got the two letters, both with different dates (March 7 & 9) in the same envelope.
GOOD LUCK!

Re: Hofstra Law Class of 2015
My status checker said that my award letter was mailed on 3/21. I live in DE and I still haven't received it so I e-mailed Dean Chalmers asking if he could tell me about my award. He responded right away. Seeing as deposit deadlines are quickly approaching, if you haven't received your scholarship info yet, just e-mail or call them and they should give you an answer.

Did you ask for an increase? If so, how and when did you do it? Also, when and how were you advised? Thanks.

New scholarship letter in the mail since 3/21. Haven't seen it yet but my status checker acceptance switched from PT to FT.

Did they call and ask you if you were interested before this happened? I can't imagine them just switching you to FT without asking first.ashen wrote:New scholarship letter in the mail since 3/21. Haven't seen it yet but my status checker acceptance switched from PT to FT.
