I am beginning to think the blank status might just mean in review. Does anyone have a message on their status checker that talks about their decision being mailed to them in a month? Bc I don't, and I think the people that heard already had that message.

No message for me. My status is still complete and the date is the same: 12/2/2011. Only the fake congrats is missing and the bottom message is different. This is starting to be painfully slow.

I applied probably around the beginning of January and was accepted last week. Hopefully you'll hear soon.

Seems like that could go hand in hand with the significant reduction in test takers / applicants.

I'm still waiting on the acceptance packet from both LUC and DePaul. Still waiting on a decision from Kent. Even if the LUC packet comes, we won't here about scholarship info until the end of the month, I don't think. Hoping I get some decent $ fom DePaul and Kent (if I get in) so I can negotiate with LUC.

I'm actually a southerner who has gone to undergrad in the Midwest the past 4 years and wouldn't mind sticking around these here parts haha.

Test takers were down -18.7% in June, -16.9% in October and -14.9% in December.

Dean Shively from Wake Forest confirmed the drop in applications in the Wake thread.

The most recent report we received from LSAC says, "... ABA applicants are down 16.7% and ABA applications are down 15.3% from 2011. The report also indicates applicants to Canadian law schools are up 4.4% and applications are up 5.4% from 2011."

Last year on LSN several people reported getting the packet even 8 weeks later.

Oh geez. So maybe it will actually include scholarship info...yeah, I'm going to try to negotiate with Pitt now rather than waiting forever for LUC to get their act together.
