Took me about a month and I only received it by mail

I was admitted towards the end of December and got my scholarship letter by mail at the beginning of February.

Also, I'll be at the admitted students weekend for sure. I'll be there friday night and saturday (and will be planning on going out for St. Patty's day). What other TLSers will be there? Anyone want to start a facebook group?

According to the Admissions people I asked in the online chat, it should be a few weeks after you get in. I still haven't heard back.

Received a merit award from LSU today: "Chancellor's Scholar", 25% tuition + Non-Resident Fee Waiver. Total award value is $20,282 a year. Stips are rather shitty, have to remain Top 33% of the class.

Think I have a shot at negotiating something better?

When did you find out you were accepted to LSU? Did they mail the info or e-mail the scholarship info?

I'm trying to figure out when I should hear something from them.

No. They usually send that out later in the form of a letter.

For anyone who has already heard about scholarships, did your status checker or an email indicate that you were receiving an offer before you got the letter in the mail? Just curious as to what I should be looking for

My status checker updated to something like "updated scholarship award letter mailed" and then I received the actual letter in the mail 2 days later (I pretty much live on campus though).

How long did it take for yall to go under review to a decision? I applied on 1/23, went under review on 3/19, and still waiting. They sent me an e-mail on Tuesday linking me to one of their sites to update financial aid stuff. Maybe its a good sign.

It took me about three months from the time I went under review to get my acceptance email. Try looking at lawschoolnumbers.com. It gives you exact dates of this year's applicants completion status and the exact date they received a decision.
