Thank you! Although I am happy with the quick turnaround .. applying this late in the cycle comes with its own set of problems .. hahacutecarmel wrote:Wow! I bet all of us that waited since September to hear back in January are pretty jealous! Lol. Congrats!

Nothing on the acceptance letter .. The letter does mention that any potential scholarship info would be sent later?Gail wrote: I'll say. It explains the wait. They tried hard to make a good first impression and that definitely matters to applicants, I think.
By the way, any scholarship info for you?

Accepted via snail mail today! The handwritten note was a nice touch although the dean's handwriting is quite messy, haha. 3.6/166, applied late November.

Waiting is torturous. I just want my cycle to be over.

+1, especially with so many schools sending out acceptances almost 3 months ago.vissidarte27 wrote:Waiting is torturous. I just want my cycle to be over.

I'm in Africa driving my mom (back in the U.S.) crazy with constant calls about checking the mail! For my mom's sake...please send your decision.

My mail sucks here. I'm still getting Christmas sale inserts in the mail. I had one letter dated Dec 10th, that I received in late January. Postmarked mid December too.

I believe they are sending out scholly info throughout feb, not with the acceptance, at least thats what my letter said.prettyhorsederpychan wrote:in today as well! no scholly offer inside though. BUT I'M SO SUPER GLAD MY CYCLE OF 3 SCHOOLS IS FINALLY OVER YAY

Baltimore has a nice habit of not delivering mail on various days.SarahT wrote:My mail sucks here. I'm still getting Christmas sale inserts in the mail. I had one letter dated Dec 10th, that I received in late January. Postmarked mid December too.

No mail today....not as in no mail, but no mail delivery today.
Must be nice to decide when you feel like delivering mail and when you don't........

In today via snail mail. The dean's note makes me feel like they actually read
my application. Can't wait to hear about scholarships

In today as well, with a nice note from the dean about my PS and my background.
I can't wait to hear about scholarship stuff. My partner's family is in ATL, so it's definitely up there on my list.

Hahaha these are literally my exact thoughts. Mail comes everyday between 4:30-5:30, which is fine on Tuesday/Thursday cause I have class pretty much all day, but I want to kill myself on MWF when I'm just sitting around at home doing work (and by work I mean surfing tls).skolks wrote:Ahhh seeing people with comparable numbers getting in is killing me! Yay accepted!! Nice handwritten note too, actually really does make it seem like they appreciate certain parts of my application (although it was kind of hard to read)!
