Allow me to rephrase: infinitesimally slightly more prestige than BC according to US News ranking.

On the other hand, fewer A3 clerks, fewer percent NLJ placement, etc, etc . . . but I was just trying to provide what one might consider redeeming qualities.

It's actually in Boston? +1 for BU

Without commenting on the building itself, the location on the river is pretty nice.

Received the following message on my status checker:

"We will notify you of the Admissions Committee's decision on your application by either email or postal mail soon as it has been reached."

Hopefully it is email and will be sent today.

When did you submit? Mine's still stuck on complete since 11/16

Academically speaking, I'd tend to agree.

But otherwise:

BC - Out of Boston, More active alum base
BU - In Boston, beautiful view

With a stus update yesterday, and hisotircally BU giving decisions the day b4 Thanksgiving.... they have to give us some news today!

If LSN is to be believed, last year the first round of decisions went out on Monday of this week so we are two days overdue.

I met an admissions guy at a law forum and he was pretty cold/not helpful at all... I have such a bad perception of BU after meeting their rep. Anyone know of some redeeming qualities of BU?

Idk much about Boston yet (still great chance I'll go there if I get in / as long as I don't hate it when I visit), but idk I'd recommend never basing your decision on how awesome or horrible one person representing them is. I'm sure every school has a little bit of both (like with almost every workplace)

Sooo I was figuring nothing would be done until Monday at any school because of Thanksgiving break... I'm guessing this was a false assumption (based on individuals stating BU has a history of releasing some decisions the day before Thanksgiving?)
